I am trying to record music from LaunchCast Plus (http://music.yahoo.com/ar-263346---Peter-Schilling).

It is recording but the media data is off.  For example:

Station: Peter Schilling Fan Radio
Song: Antartica
Artist: Men Without Hats
Album: Collection

Under AOM for media the corresponding was:

Station/genre: Peter Schilling Fan Radio
Artist: NO DATA SHOWN OR RECORDED
Title: NO DATA SHOWN OR RECORDED
Album Title: Antartica

As you can see from the example, Antartica should be under Title and the artist name should appear but all songs come out this way, that is with Correct Station/genere, incorrect Album Title and no info under artist or title.

I have hit the update media data but the information remains the same. I also have updated AOM and I am running Version 2.2.543 released on 8-28-2006.


It used to come out before and I was able to record it.  Is a fix available.

I am using the same computer, with the same username and organization as registered. I am still using Windows XP Professional (Service Pack two vice one is the only difference).

I went through the upgrade portion and inputted the following information you send on the registration portion of AOM, again no luck. What am I doing wrong?

Any suggestions? I do not know what else I can do? I don't really want to reload the whole computer again? Would the upgrade on IE 7 make the difference?

I tried it several times and always got the same result: It definitely works. Have a look at this example:



Your problem doesn't have anything to do with the registration.

What version of AOMrecord are you using?

Did you apply all updates using the built in update feature?

Regarding your registration key: If there is a problem with the key you are always welcome to get a new one using the procedure mentioned in this forum. Again, if there is a probem with the key it has nothing to do with your SHOUTCAST problem.

I'd like to help but I need more information.

Registration good to go. Next, the Yahoo music. For AOMrecord, under Folders adn Files - Format of music file name i have:

%artist% - %title% - %album%

Am i missing data?under recording i have gone both ways with Radio AOL as your example and other provider.

I get the correct station and the correct album title, but no other information.
