I have enjoyed this wonderful program for about a year now.

I have a Dell axim x50v onto which I copy the aolradio tracks that I capture in wma format with AOMrecord. I have been very happy with it until now.

Recently, I have been getting a lot of "white noise" on my AOL radio recordings. What I am recording and listening to, is noiseless & perfect, but when I play back the recorded file, the white moise is there.

The only thing I have changed is to install a wi-fi 802.11g router for a wirelees network. At first, I thought this wireless signal was the culprit. I totally unplugged and disconnected the router and network. Then I tried to AOMrecord a CD playing in windows media player with the wireless network disconnected. The white noise was still there.

Perhaps the encoder was the problem? I then went to AOMrecord temp files in wav format and tried playing them. Yes, the white moise was still there.

After a fresh reboot, I can start AOMrecord all by itself with nothing inputing to it and see the white noise on the histogram. No white noise from my speakers, however!

I use win xp home sp2 updated to present

AOMrecord, in its present form is now unusable for me. Darn!!

I am baffled. Any ideas??
