Hi Mark,
I have had this problem, too. After setting the pause length to 50 and peak recognition to on it works almost 100% of the time. You could als try to set the pause recognition level a bit higher.
I have thought about an editing function several times, but can't find a practical solution. The reason: It would be necessary to be able to edit several types of different sound files (like WAV, WMA, MP3 and OGG). maybe even more in the future. Please let me know what you think.
For those who use WMA there is an easy and free solution: You can use the File Editor for Windows Media which is included in the Windows Media Encoder package (C:\Programs\Windows Media Components\Encoder).
There are probably more free editors for WAV, MP3 and OGG files in the web. If someone knows one, please publish it here.
Best regards
Thomas
