Thomas,

I installed the newest version of AOMRecord and noticed on the News page that there is support for Sirius Radio player.  I have the Sirius Player running but there is no media data present.

Any thoughts?

By the way, I have tried slacker.com and it works fine as well as the AOL 4.0 beta.

I have the Yahoo music Jukebox as the freestanding player but no media informaion is available; the launchcast site though works.

Hello Sal, i tried Sirius some time ago and it seems to me that unlike AOL Radio there's no clear cut between the song, as a consequence AomRecord should not be able to cut correctly the songs : is it the case ?

Do you think the sound quality is superior to AOL Radio (to justify the paying
of a subscription) ?

Another point, i contacted Thomas some weeks ago to ask him if he could
adaptate his software to Sirius so that it gets the metadata and he told me
that it worked; let's see his answer to your question.

Happy 2008 to everyone !!

Alex.

I was just looking for a different set of stations. I already have Sirius in the car and thus I get teh online player without paying. Granted, the upgraded version has better sound but I am not sure it can be heard.

With the updated software package for AOMRecord, there was a reference for Sirius and I was wondering if it were true.

New: AOMrecord is now able to recognize media data from this provider, too:
real Player is used for many streaming radios and on demand music.
SIRIUS Internet Radio is a provider with more than 65 commercial free music stations.
