Status Colors

A few days ago, 3D stopped functioning. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but things aren't getting better. Right now, the 3D symbol on the status bar is red, and on the 3D panel, "Online State" is red and DNS State is yellow.  "Last ping" has no color.

I can't find an explanation for these colors. If I can understand these colors, I might be able to figure out what's wrong.

Why don't you just read in the help (press F1) and arrive here: http://eurocomp.info/3D/index.htm?url=/3D/english/info.htm

Thank you. I knew it was someplace but I couldn't seem to find it.

Now that I know what it means, it leads me to the next question. I'm not trying to use dialup. I have a dedicated connection. I suspect it is trying to dial because it can't reach the server at dyndns.org. I am able to reach it via IE.

Any other ideas?

Disable the DUN dialer. Check all other settings. It's easy. You've done it before.

Sorry, but I can't do more from here.

That seems to have solved it. Very odd. I don't remember doing that during the initial install.

If I may suggest, I had to dig a bit to find the meaning of those status messages. I think they deserve a more prominent place in the documentation. As I expected, once I understood the status, the rest was easy.

Thanks for your help.
