No Media Data from Pandora any more

Help!

I have been successfully using AOMrecord with Pandora.com for some time.  

 For some reason I am no longer able to obtain media data for this source.

 Has something changed?

 I am running version 2.2.542. and it works fine with AOL Radio

Hi Lozboz,

Download this file: http://AOMrecord.com/bin/MSIE.ini and replace the file with the same name in AOMrecord's program folder (normally C:\Program Files\AOMrecord).

Before doing so please rename the original file to whatever you want to have a backup copy available.

Please let us know if it works.

Thomas, I noticed an update for AOMRecord, no doubt related to fixing this problem.  However, as you created a special MSIE.INI file for me to allow the recording of selected XM channels, will this update interfere with that file?

No interference will occur as this update covers just these two problems. I'm just a bit late these days ;-). That's all.

I downloaded the new release and my previous problem with Pandora not displaying media data is back.  

I've been away for a few weeks so this may not be new.  I notice that the Pandora elements of the release notes has been crossed out, is there a solution?

Hi Laurie,

Yes, unfortunately tags cannot be recorded from Pandora any more. I can't tell when and/or whether this will be possible again.
